Mitch Nash

Government Security Manager – Boeing Company

Mitch Nash is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career in both military service and corporate security. He currently serves as Government Security Manager for Boeing in St. Louis, Missouri, ensuring compliance with internal and governmental security regulations. Mitch is married to Yvonne Washington, and together they have two children, Paris and Malcolm.

The fourth of eight children born to Rudolph and Ruth Nash, Mitch grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where he excelled in football, basketball, and track at Bartlesville High School. As a standout running back, he was an Oklahoma Blue Chip recruit, Class 5A rushing leader, and earned All-State and All-Conference honors, along with an Honorable Mention on the All-USA High School Football Team.

Mitch attended Oklahoma State University on a full athletic scholarship, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing in 1988. A co-captain of the football team and a four-year letterman, he competed in the Gator, Sun, and Holiday Bowls.

Military Service

In 1991, Mitch enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Personnel Specialist, serving with distinction for 20 years in various roles and units, including the Pentagon, Camp Casey in Korea, and Fort Gordon, Georgia. He rose to the rank of Master Sergeant/First Sergeant, earning numerous accolades including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Overseas Service Ribbon, Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon, and Army Service Ribbon.

Mitch furthered his education with a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Webster University in 2003. After retiring from the Army in 2011, he transitioned seamlessly into corporate leadership, continuing his commitment to service and excellence.
